Information

We have realised that a small component on our cargo bikes does not meet our quality and durability requirements. It is therefore out of the question for us to take action and replace the component in question. This is simple and straightforward and we provide all the information and parts free of charge. We ask you to enter your frame number in the corresponding field on this page. You will find out immediately whether your muli is affected or not. Then send us your contact details and in particular your delivery address. This data will of course only be used to carry out this constructive update.

What is it all about?

The height-adjustable stem adapter and the quick-release lever that fixes it in place are made by Satori. Inside the quick-release lever is a so-called 'barrel nut’. We have noticed manufacturing tolerances in this part, which can have a negative effect on durability.

Our quality requirements do not match those of our supplier on this point. We therefore had a barrel nut of a significantly higher quality manufactured locally in Germany - just around the corner from us.

Not only did we significantly improve the manufacturing quality, we also reworked the material: The new barrel nut and the double nipple threaded bolt are now made of stainless steel - and therefore offer significantly higher corrosion protection than the galvanised versions previously used.

What do you need to do?

  1. Enter your frame number in the adjacent field on this page

  2. If your muli is affected, we need your contact details and your delivery address. This is the only way we can deliver the spare part to you free of charge

  3. Within a few days, you will receive a parcel from us with a new quick-release lever and step-by-step instructions.

  4. Replace the quick-release lever before your next ride. Unscrew the bolt, remove the old quick-release lever, insert the new one, tighten the bolt, close the lever securely - done!
