The centrepiece of every bike is the frame. We build every single one ourselves – here in Cologne, at the muli Factory. There’s no other way for us. We want to keep control of the materials and quality. We want to design every weld ourselves. We build bikes that last. That’s why we make a promise: a 10-year warranty on our frames!

Secure your frame warranty in just a few steps
To benefit from the 10-year frame warranty, you must register. It’s quick and easy, and must be done within the first 60 days of purchase. You’ll need your frame number and proof of purchase. We’ll, of course, handle your details responsibly. This will allow us to contact you quickly and directly in the event of important product updates or technical information. Please enter your frame number first. If it is already in our system, the full activation form will open.

We’ve decided to manufacture our own products. It’s a lot of work, but it’s the honest way to do things. Behind every muli is a team that has developed the frame itself, tested it thoroughly and refined it over more than 10 years. Not just anyone, somewhere. We’re right here, and we’re here to look after you!

At the heart of our metalworking operations lies our automated frame production. Yes, we manufacture our frames using welding robots. Right here at the muli Factory in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Not only is this incredibly efficient, but it also enables us to achieve a very high and consistent standard of quality. Incidentally, the tubes for our steel frames are manufactured in northern Germany from 100% recycled steel.
Quality and precision
We guarantee the highest quality and have developed innovative production methods and processes to achieve this. Our in-house metalworking is as precise as it is efficient. All information about the warranty
The extended warranty applies to all muli frames and forks. Naturally, we have to attach certain conditions to this and – in some cases – impose restrictions. If, for example, you have an accident, our Crash Replacement Programme will apply. If you encounter any issues, please contact your specialist dealer or get in touch with us directly. In the event of a necessary repair, you should first contact your muli dealer. If you purchased your muli directly from us, please contact our technical support team (quality@muli-cycles.de) before repairing the damage.
This is the only way we have the opportunity to assess possible damage and manage the complaint process. As a rule, we can provide spare parts at a reasonable price or have suitable tips to keep the repair simple.
The frame number, name and fault description should always be referred to as information.
Good to know: apart from the frame, steering linkage and basket, the muli is fitted with standard components that can be repaired in any bicycle workshop.

The first point of contact for all warranty matters is your local specialist retailer. Our retailers will contact us as soon as possible and take care of everything else. You can find further information and contact details under Support/Complaints.

The product for which you wish to claim under warranty must be handed over to your dealer, together with the original proof of purchase. The dealer will then communicate with us.

Wear and tear, damage caused by an accident or accidental damage, as well as damage caused by misuse or corrosion, are not covered, for example. You can find a more detailed list in the warranty terms and conditions.

Yes. We are cyclists ourselves and know that accidents can happen, especially in traffic. Our crash replacement programme gives you the opportunity to receive preferential prices so that you can remain mobile without having to buy a completely new bike.

Components from third parties (e.g. Shimano) are guaranteed directly by the manufacturer. Separate warranty information for these parts is included with your muli upon purchase.
