Lucerne, we’re getting excited!

Your company muli. Half-funded.

As part of the "clever unterwegs im Veloverkehr" project, the Albert Koechlin Foundation and the City of Lucerne are helping businesses purchase company cargo bikes to provide them with an additional, sustainable form of transportation. Through the project, businesses receive a grant covering 50% of the purchase cost, as well as a large contribution toward customized branding.

Who can apply?

Businesses, institutions, and organizations headquartered in Lucerne, Nidwalden, Obwalden, Schwyz, or Uri that would like to use the muli on a regular basis for their local logistics operations.

How much is the funding?

A grant of 50% of the purchase cost, as well as a generous contribution toward lettering

Here’s how to get your funded company muli

  1. Submit your grant application online.

  2. You will receive notification of approval or rejection via email.

  3. Get advice from a Lucerne-based dealer, test different models, and find the right muli for you.

  4. Submit the final quote for your chosen model.

  5. Sign the subsidy agreement and send it back.

  6. Place a binding order for your muli with a Lucerne-based specialty dealer.

  7. Customize your brand’s look on the muli.

  8. Your muli will be delivered, ideally with the decals already applied.

  9. Pay the invoices and get started.

Submission Deadline

Grant applications may be submitted until the end of September or until the limited funding has been exhausted.
